⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Suntana - #85 could not have been more perfect for our family! Plenty of open space, yet not isolated from each other. Configuration of the bedrooms was perfect, and the spacious upstairs bedroom king suites offered the most beautiful front-row balcony seats to view the amazing morning sunrise!! The kitchen was great, had most of what we needed to cook in, plenty of seating, big TV with all the channels, and then some. But the icing on the cake was the location, right on the beach . The kids loved swimming in the ocean (in November) and then warming up in the hot tub after. The perfect week, to celebrate the hubby's 70th with all the kids and grands. Cherished memories made!! Thank you to Surf or Sound realty for the excellent care and accommodations!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an amazing vacation. The house was great! (Two Sons - #870) Loved that we could bring our dog. Very short walk to the beach and the private pool was fabulous! Surf or Sound Realty was easy to work with and very responsive to questions in a timely manner. They had many houses to choose from within our criteria. Highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family had a wonderful vacation in Hatteras, NC. The home we rented from Surf or Sound was amazing with plenty of space for everyone in our group. The ocean views from the home each day were just gorgeous. We will definitely be looking into booking future vacations through Surf or Sound.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just ended our week at #823 Sounds Good to Me and had an absolute blast. The house was ready toward the earliest of the possibly time frame, when we arrived the keyless entry code made things a breeze, the house was clean and well stocked with needed pots and pans and utensils. The living space was absolutely beautiful, and the game room was very well done and we got a ton of use out of both spaces. The only issue with this house directly was there was a leak in the pool however we didn’t even need to mention it and they had someone coming by to check it very attentively throughout our stay which was greatly appreciated. I have been a lifelong Hatteras-specific OBX vacationer and have always stayed in Surf or Sound Realty homes. This was my first year of being the renter and it could not have gone more smoothly. Thank you so much for the amazing home and the easy process, see ya next year.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My family and I had an absolutely delightful vacation at Seashella - #985. This home was spotless and well cared for. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect for preparing our makeup Easter dinner. The sunrise views are spectacular on the deck as well as with the picture window in the open dining/kitchen/living room. The swimming pool was such a nice addition to the house. We hope to stay here again in the future. 10/10 on vacation satisfaction score.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went into Surf or Sound Realty in Avon searching for a rental property for my husband and I and our pooch. We met Molly who was wonderful to work with. She took an interest in our wishes and pulled up available properties. She made recommendations as to which ones she felt would be closest to our needs. She promptly ran prices and sent us an email with all the information for the properties. After review and more research on our part, we requested more pricing which she again promptly sent. She also allowed us to go into a couple of homes with a one-time code when homes were empty. She was a delight to work with and seemed really interested in helping us. Surf or Sound Realty rental pricing seems very reasonable and fair in comparison to other rental companies in the area. We will recommend this company to others. Their service was above and beyond our expectations!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My family and I had The homes we rented this year were exceptionally cleaned and prepared prior to our arrival. When we had issues with one of the homes, it was addressed promptly and resolved beyond our satisfaction. Our first rental was oceanfront Pflueger's Lure - #1025 and the second was a soundfront home Baywinds - #1137. We will continue to rent from Surf or Sound, a long-time customer since 2007. One of the best on Hatteras Island!
