When you reserve a Hatteras Island vacation rental home, you are typically renting a private home owned by a family. These are second homes, vacation homes, or investment properties that the homeowners furnish with vacationers in mind. 

The homeowners equip their homes with kitchen supplies like pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and small appliances such as a toaster, drip coffee maker, electric can opener, blender, and hand mixer. The beds are furnished with spreads, blankets, and pillows. There are trash cans and shower curtains in the bathrooms and other basic necessities found throughout the homes.

Some homes provide bed linens, and some provide both bed and bath linens, which will be listed in the advertising.
